Mana Pools National Park – World Heritage Site
Mana Pools has 50km of Zambezi river shoreline. Massive populations of elephant, leopard, lion, buffalo, hyena, eland, zebra and other game. It is very ideal for game drives, safaris, walking and fishing
Mana Pools is a spectacular heritage site. It is the only National Park in Zimbabwe where it is permitted to walk without a guide. Mana Pools national park is located north east of Kariba on the southern banks of Zambezi River. Four of the Big Five are prevalent here: lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo with hippos, waterbuck, impala, zebra, eland and kudu being the other game that one can have close encounters with.
